THE ORDER
How we move from a card to an interpretation.
1. Name the question
Clarify whether the reading concerns feelings, action, an obstacle, a choice, or an outcome. A vague question produces a vague answer.
2. Observe before labeling
Look at posture, direction, distance, objects, weather, and tension in the scene before reaching for memorized keywords.
3. Read the position
The same card changes emphasis when it appears as advice, obstacle, present condition, or possible outcome.
4. Compare the cards
In a spread, repetition, contrast, movement, and missing elements matter more than reading three isolated definitions.
5. Return to reality
Translate the reading into a question to verify, a conversation to have, or a small action whose result can be observed.
UPRIGHT & REVERSED
A reversed card is not a mechanical opposite.
We treat reversal as the same underlying energy expressed through blockage, excess, delay, inward focus, avoidance, or unsuitable timing. The surrounding cards and the stated position decide which of those possibilities is relevant.
LIMITS
What a reading cannot establish.
A card cannot verify another person's private thoughts, diagnose a condition, prove wrongdoing, establish a legal fact, set an exact date, or replace professional medical, legal, mental-health, or financial advice.
When a decision carries material risk, the reading should lead back to evidence, consent, qualified advice, and consequences you can realistically accept.
